Host Description
Barry's world is primarily a gaming site that offers free hosting to non commercial sites as a part of its business.
Network speed is usually noticeably good.
If you are a clan or personal site you do not need to worry about
getting the BarrysWorld Banner code within your design. However, if you do
run banners at the top of each page of your site you will be entitled
to a free banner in our cycle which appears on the majority of sites within
the network.
The offer is:
- 25MB per site (only for non commercial sites)
- PHP support (Version 4 only)
- SSI support
- FTP only access to your hosting space
upd. 2002-02-17: this site seem to be reliable, and so we improved its rating. It's a real pity they dont offer mySql access!
upd. 2003-09-29: The service is for subscribers only. No more free hosting.
